Notability

[edit]

Harmil added a notability tag saying "is it a notable publisher? If so, we need some documentation of that fact." I'm not sure how to document notability (especially since most comic books aren't on people's radar): (1) Men in Black (comic) got its start at Aircel and was turned into a series of blockbuster movies (2) Charles de Lint scripted several Aircel comic books and (3) creators such as Dale Keown got their start at Aircel. --EarthFurst 23:07, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well I added info about Aircel that I think is notable. My sources were other wikipages and I linked to those sources. --EarthFurst 09:33, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Donald Lanouette

[edit]

The last line of text reads, Not cited above as part of the original team is Mr. Donald Lanouette and should be included under original team members if not founding partner. (poor English in original, Wikilinking mine) This is followed by an external link/ cite, which reads, We're sorry to inform you that as of October 31, 2008, AOL["registered trademark" icon] Hometown has been shut down permanently. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The first should obviously have been placed right here and now it is. I know nothing of this, and without the other backing it up, I can say nothing about the legitimacy of the claim. Does anybody else? --Tbrittreid (talk) 19:46, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Walking Dead

[edit]

I added Walking Dead to the list because they made a comic with that title a good like 12 years earlier then the more well known Walking Dead. I added a link to the notes area and I will post it here too http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=319861 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.71.87.232 (talk) 04:09, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
