Al-Hadi
[edit]his last name is not "Al-Hadi" it's "Hadi" Mr. Ibrahem (talk) 01:09, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- thanks man --Mr. Ibrahem (talk) 11:04, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
- Now the pronunciation is not consistent with his name. Elyasaf (talk) 19:00, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

Presidential tenure & Vice Presidential
[edit]Please stop messing up the infobox & succession box. Hadi became President in 2012. On two ocassions while Vice President, he also held power as Acting President. GoodDay (talk) 05:42, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
22 January or 6 February
[edit]- @Naruto2446, Therequiembellishere, and Sundostund: What is the date of the term end. 22 January or 6 February ? Parliament refused the resignation but he never voted. --Panam2014 (talk) 21:37, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
- As far as I understand it, his term de facto ended on 22 January when he resigned (we should also remember that he was under house arrest and without real control for a few days prior to that)... I truly doubt we can argue that he was in charge until 6 February. On that day, Houthis just formally took over power, which they exercised since they put Hadi under house arrest. --Sundostund (talk) 13:18, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi → Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi – It is his true name.
Official sources : [1], [2], [3] and [4]. Press : [5], [6], [7],[8]. Pannam2014 (talk) 09:40, 8 October 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. — Amakuru (talk) 11:05, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Support Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi (rather than "Mansur" as in the nomination). Romanized spellings of this man's name in the press are all over the place, but the sources above appear to express Hadi's personal preference as to how his name should be Romanized. That's at least preferable to picking one at random. 64.105.98.115 (talk) 13:27, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi [9] --Panam2014 (talk) 17:57, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Note: this "support" is from the nominator of the move request. — Amakuru (talk) 11:08, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Note: @Amakuru: It is a fully recognized support, not a "support" as you write.
- Note: this "support" is from the nominator of the move request. — Amakuru (talk) 11:08, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Relisting comment - this was subject to move review at WP:Move review/Log/2016 October, following a WP:INVOLVED closure by the nominator. It should be closed by an independent and uninvolved admin (or experienced non-admin) as detailed at WP:RMCI. — Amakuru (talk) 11:08, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Amakuru: Hello. Seven days passed despite the technical reopening. We will not discuss another seven days then there is consensus and that the seven-day rule is clear. So, to whom does it apply to have someone to close the request ? --Panam2014 (talk) 11:29, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- I must repeat that the article subject himself spells his name "Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi" in English, as shown above. Perhaps the nominator shouldn't have closed the original discussion, and perhaps the nominator doesn't express himself perfectly in English, but this business of objecting and reopening the move request is idiotic. Anyone who thinks the nominator shouldn't have done the move should themselves have done the move, not - whatever this is. 64.105.98.115 (talk) 04:12, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
- Actually, this is incorrect. See MOS:IDENTITY. The fact that a person uses a particular name themselves, does not necessarily mean we should use that name. If reliable sources generally call them something else, then so do we. The only time it's relevant which the person uses is if it's "not clear" which form predominates in reliable sources. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 23:24, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Amakuru: some reliables sources use his official name and some uses the other form who is not used by officials. So there are consensus, the page should be moved. I have given the sources. Panam2014 (talk) 11:05, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Procedural close/Not a move request. The "nominator" has been provided information in my below comment. (non-admin closure) Steel1943 (talk) 14:53, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi → Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi – Per discussion at Talk:Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi#Requested move 8 October 2016, with clear consensus, I cannot perform a non-admin closure as it currently exists as a redirect. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 00:48, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Iazyges: Per WP:RMNAC, you probably can close the above discussion. (Either way, I'm going to close this one since it's not an actual new move request.) Steel1943 (talk) 14:51, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Steel1943 and Iazyges: It is clear that there are consensus. Could you noce the page ? Panam2014 (talk) 11:11, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
