[edit]There is no Esperanto in this film. I believe the imdb is mistaken about that. I am removing the category, unless someone prove me wrong!! -- Yekrats 14:02, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Of note? The phrase "thief of time" is phrase used by Martin Luther King, Jr. in his April 4, 1967 Vietnam speech (http://icujp.org/king.shtml) at Riverside Church in NYC:
We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. The "tide in the affairs of men" does not remain at the flood; it ebbs. We may cry out deperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is deaf to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residue of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late." There is an invisible book of life that faithfully records our vigilance or our neglect. "The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on..." We still have a choice today; nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation. Thatvisionthing (talk) 11:12, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
lots of reviews, can we find them?
[edit]There were many reviews of this book when it was published. I found Kirkus Reviews in whole, and the one sentence quotes that Amazon uses to sell the book, which are not much use. With so many awards and nominations, the other editorial reviews must be interesting and contrasting. My resources now are what I can find on-line, and would appreciate if others who have books with reviews collected or access to more original review sources would copy them in to the article. Then we could see why others picked this novel for the awards. The Kirkus reviewer liked but would not have given it an award, so what are the thoughts of those who did? --Prairieplant (talk) 12:14, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
