AR Cass E
[edit]There's information on every star except E. What happened to E? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.9.112.135 (talk) 23:35, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- E is boring? No, seriously, E is apparently an unrelated background star although there isn't a lot known about it. Curiously, it is the closest listed companion to the AB pair although there are several very faint stars closer, also unrelated to the multiple system. Gaia DR2 shows it as a cool evolved star, possibly a subgiant, but Simbad lists the spectral type as B3. Abt (1985) has it as an A3 main sequence star. Lithopsian (talk) 14:57, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks; so it's not actually a septuple system then. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.9.112.135 (talk) 22:05, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
