Fair use rationale for Image:STAR News.jpg
[edit]Untitled
[edit]Image:STAR News.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Star News as a Chinese channel
[edit]This is valid. what's the problem? Star news is by no means an entertainment channel. that is not a NPOV ChiragPatnaik (talk)
Page being repeatedly vandalized
[edit]The ABP News Wikipedia page is being repeatedly vandalized by changing the ownership information to: "ABP News is an Indian news channel owned by ABP Group and Indian National Congress." Where as the news channel is not owned by Indian National Congress and is a sole property of the ABP Group. --Rohantyagi6855 (talk) 11:56, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

ABP News: Official Logo Updated
[edit]Noticed a change in the official logo for ABP News. Can someone help update the same? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ErRajesh Pal (talk • contribs) 01:17, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
Unreliable, false news about Deep Sidhu
[edit]ABP News reported "Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu, known for his role in films like 'Ramta Jogi', 'Desi' and 'Saade Aale',". (Archive URL) But Film Desi was never released. Looks like they copy pasted it from Wikipedia (most likely) or somewhere without proper verification. Venkat TL (talk) 17:39, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- Our article Deep Sidhu never had Desi in the lead nor in the article saying he's known for it. — DaxServer (t · c) 18:09, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

- Reread my comment: "Desi in the lead" ; "in the article saying he's known for it". We just have it in filmography section, also unsourced. — DaxServer (t · c) 18:25, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- They copied it from filmography section. What is so hard to understand? Do the copycats care if the Wikipedia article being copied is sourced? Venkat TL (talk) 18:56, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- Isn't your comment
WP:SYNTHthat you concluded that they copied it from here. That's what so hard to understand — DaxServer (t · c) 18:58, 15 February 2022 (UTC)- They copied it from filmography section. The point of this section here is that ABP News published a non existant film as a film he is "known for" without proper checks. So I called ABP unreliable in the section header. The point is not that they copied it from wikipedia, the point is they published an unverified and clearly false news. Venkat TL (talk) 19:02, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- I'm aware that they published without verification. I'm also concerned that you continue concluding that they copied [from WP] (Note: Stricken off SYNTH as this is not dealing with content on article) — DaxServer (t · c) 10:02, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

that many countries (and languages)?
[edit]if i'm reading the article correctly, the show was only broadcast in regions of india and the languages broadcast were only indic languages and english. yet in the infobox, we see a giant list of countries and languages that abp news was broadcast in, including countries and languages like africa (a continent!), north korea, croatian, and czech. the list goes on and on. can someone check this? --lettherebedarklight – 晚安 (おやすみなさい)。 06:49, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Lettherebedarklight Just go ahead and boldly remove all that if it is unsourced. Fans write all sort of unsourced stuff. Venkat TL (talk) 07:15, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
