@Ldm1954 It doesn't seem exactly right to revert my edit and not nominate it for AfD since, based on your edit summary and here obviously, you think it doesn't pass NPROF and is a "strong candidate for an AfD discussion". This is something you should have done immediately. I have no special interest with the page though, whatever happens to it I don't really mind. I was only trying to do the work of an NPP. Since you dispute my judgement, the best thing is to take it to AfD and let the community decide, instead of returning it back to the NPP queue, you already made a decision. @Vanderwaalforces, I did the tagging myself as part of NPP. If a page is marginal I normally give the involved editors a chance to improve it before going to AfD, and he is certainly on the border for WP:NPROF with no peer recognition in terms of community awards -- publications alone are not enough.
