Kevin Mannix was a Republican in 70th Assembly. He had previously served as a Democrat, sought the Attorney General nomination of the Democratic Party in 1996, lost , re-registered as a Republican, was briefly appointed to the State Senate in 1997, then won election to the House in 1998 as a Republican - not Democrat as the list of members shows.
