Merger
[edit]Lineagegeek more your territory than mine, but you may wish to consider a merge of the 37th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron to this article. Buckshot06 (talk) 05:08, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support Unlike most mergers of articles on USAF units, this one a) Does not involve a consolidation, just an article that carves off a section of a unit's history; and b) the "merge from" article is more than a stub. However, the bulk of the 37th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron is a only list of "on [date] [event] happened. Probably in too much detail for an encyclopedia article, especially when giving the call sign and serial number of each individual airframe. There are more than thirty citations to The Virtual Wall. I'm not sure this is a problem, but the merged article will need editing. There are about twenty Wikipedia articles on rescue or helicopter squadrons that include their time as aerospace rescue and recovery units. --Lineagegeek (talk) 21:51, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Tentative Support provided all Vietnam War detail is retained.Mztourist (talk) 10:00, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 10:17, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
