Write-in votes in results table

[edit]

I've just re-added in some write-in votes to the results table, after they were removed by Esolo5002 for not being included in the SoS' original report. My threshold, which I admit is rather arbitrary, was a candidate recieving write-in votes of 100 or more. While it may not be notable that, for example, Taylor Swift recieved four write-in votes, I think the write-in performance of, say, Rashida Tlaib, who recieved over 1% of the vote, more than multiple candidates on the ballot, is worth including in the table. I'm not quite sure where the line lies for inclusion, but I think somewhere above 100 votes or 0.1% of the vote seems about right, capturing particularly strong (relatively speaking) write-in performances while avoiding being overly specific and distracting for readers of the article. Alternatively, a drop-down table, as in 2003 California gubernatorial recall election#Results could be used -- what are your thoughts? LivelyRatification (talk) 05:58, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
