statistics table

In the total row, I see the goals added up on the stats table, but not the player appearances, why is that? It's an odd table for sure. Is the totals row even necessary? Govvy (talk) 11:49, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Each individual players appearances are added up at the end of the rows. What would be the point of adding up a total number of appearances for the team? I think the team totals for goals, yellow and red cards are of interest, but not appearances. This format has been used now for several seasons on this page and seems to be well received generally.--Ratchet8865 (talk) 12:02, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
