This article was nominated for merging with Timeline of the Syrian Civil War on 25 January 2015. The result of the discussion (permanent link) was merge the "Events" section as detailed in the discussion.

2 major problems with this article

1- It is completely unsourced... Not one reference!
2- It overlaps with Timeline of the Syrian Civil War (August 2014–present) since all the content of "2014 in Syria" article is about the war. Tradedia^talk 01:17, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update: 1- This problem has been resolved.
