seat holder and racing team source

[edit]

The seat holders and the racing teams need to be checked for this new season. Someone with A1GPpress.com access can check this, like it was for last season. For now, A1 Team Korea its reliable (ref: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/69772) and China, Monaco - Rollof1 (talk) 17:35, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Drivers

[edit]

In the past season talk article, I've disembiguate the drivers. There are many drivers in each teams and we seem to not define in a same way the drivers categories. So:

  • Race drivers with drivers than start a sprint or main race (can be also a rookie session driver).
  • Rookie drivers with drivers than participate on rookies sessions practice (can be also a race driver).
  • Test drivers with all drivers than participate in official test sessions (can be race/rookie drivers).
  • Reserve drivers So we should add the colum Reserve drivers for drivers who don't participate to practice or rookie sessions or races in the weekend but who were actually present in the paddocks. If a Reserve driver race or practice later in the season, he's still a reserve driver and his name stay in the colum reserve drivers. BUT all Rookie drivers (if diffrent from the race driver) are probably Reserve drivers. In fact, Reserve drivers are mainly inelligible drivers to rookie sessions AND moreover its not easy to find all these drivers, teams and official a1gp don't communicate too much about them.

So do we add the colum Reserve drivers ? With or without rookies ? Do we just include these other drivers in the colum Rookie drivers like this (italic or parenthesis for other reserve drivers).:

Rookie drivers
(other reserve drivers)
Daniel Morad
Jimmy Auby

I like the last proposition despite the difficulty to find sources about them. So don't forget to cite your source in the race report page. - Rollof1 (talk) 16:59, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
