What happened in Ireland, August 2005?

According to the page '2005 in Ireland' ( http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/2005_in_Ireland ), absolutely nothing happened in Ireland during the month of August as there are no entries for that month. I refuse to believe this, as I was there during that time but as I was "wee youngun" I can't remember much. I remember driving along a road that had a lot of water near/around/over it. Could that have been due to flooding? That may be something worth adding to the list, if floods are considered worth mentioning. Apart from "random person turned 12 and visited the Giant's Causeway, before having a party in a camper van with their parents and sibling while staying in a miserable caravan park on the top of some foggy cliffs" I can't think of much else what happened over there...
