Uniforms

@Cbl62: Would you know how the jerseys looked during this period? I have seen the little padded wings/tape on the blue jerseys depicted as brown, grey, and maize. Maize would make sense of course, and indeed I do wonder where on the uniform it was (if at all), but only seen that on sports cards. The "friction strips" and/or padded wing thingies were usually brown or grey (like the pants), but could be colored (white, say). One colorized photo of Oosterbaan used the grey, but that much have been copied from Ohio State (or Penn State). This game program used brown, and while Sconnie is awfully orange, I took it as my best bet. Cake (talk) 17:41, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
