Talakadu Srinivasatatachar Srivatsa is member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly and serving as a MLA from Krishnaraja which is one of the seats that comes under Mysore City, the others being Chamaraja and Narasimharaja. He succeeded S. A. Ramdas who was also from BJP and 4 time MLA from Krishnaraja and defeated his nearest rival M. K. Somashekar who was formerly 2 time MLA from Krishnaraja by 7,213 votes making him the lone BJP MLA from Mysuru City and Mysuru District after 2023 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election.[1]
He is also BJP president for Mysore City.[2][3]
