Saint-Jean-de-Niost (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ ʒɑ̃ njɔst]) is a commune in the Ain department in eastern France.

It lies on the edge of the Ain plain between Meximieux and Saint-Maurice-de-Gourdans.
