The R423 road is a regional road in counties Laois and Offaly in Ireland. The road is in two parts: from Portarlington, County Laois (where the road begins from the R420 road on the Offaly side of Portarlington) to Mountmellick and from the N80 road at Derrycloney townland to Mountrath.[1] The R423 is 25.5 km (15.8 mi) long.[2][3]
