Ployshompoo Supasap (Thai: พลอยชมพู ศุภทรัพย์; born 5 January 1995), also known as Jan (Thai: แจน) or Janhae (Thai: แจนเฮ), is a Thai actress and singer. She is a former member of the girl group Sizzy under RISER MUSIC. She is known for her roles on the television series SOTUS: The Series (2016–2017), Fabulous 30: The Series (2017), Who Are You (2020), and P.S. I Hate You (2022).[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Ployshompoo was born in Bangkok, Thailand on 5 January 1995. Her nickname is Jan. She is also known as her another nickname Janhae, derived from the combination of Jan and Donghae, being a fan of Super Junior's Lee Donghae.[2] She graduated from Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) School and went to Thammasat University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) in 2017.[3]
Career
[edit]Ployshompoo entered the entertainment industry in 2014 as one of two actresses who appeared in a commercial for the B-ing Collagen drink after beating out other candidates in a B-ing search that offered Thai fans the opportunity to appear in a new commercial featuring SNSD's Kim Taeyeon.[4] She later appeared in various music videos and went on to play main and support roles in several television series.[1] In the meantime, she signed under GMMTV and debuted as an idol under Sizzy (formerly known as Sissy) in November 2019,[5] before they officially disbanded in October 2024.[6]
Ployshompoo has also begun to spread her wings in the fashion industry. In April 2024, she was chosen as the first female brand ambassador for H&M Thailand.[7]
