Oitharei (English: Help Me) is a 2025 Manipuri film written by Lambamayum Premchan and directed by Dinesh Naorem.[1] The film is produced by Gibanlata Thokchom under the banner of Kathe Films and presented by Naorem.[2] Sanjana Likmabam, Sunny Naoshekpam and Suraj Ngashepam star in the lead roles. The film was released at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) on 3 January 2025. It was screened at the 2nd North East India Film Festival, Manipur 2025 under the competition section.[3][4][5]
Plot
[edit]The film tells the story of Leima, one of the innocent victims of the ethnic conflict that broke out in the state of Manipur.

Soundtrack
[edit]Rahul Blue composed the soundtrack for the film and Lambamayum Premchan and Dinesh Naorem wrote the lyrics.[6][7] Arbin Soibam and Kenedy Khuman are the playback singers of the songs.
