Miss Cosmo 2024 will be the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant, to be held in Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on 5 October 2024.

Delegates from fifty-six countries and territories are expected to be competing. On 27 September 2024, the Miss Cosmo Organization announced that Kylie Verzosa, Miss International 2016, will serve as the host for both the preliminary night and the grand finale.[1]

Background

Location and date

The pageant will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 15 September to 5 October 2024, with participants from fifty-nine countries and territories.[2] The Miss Cosmo Organization held a press conference to launch the competition on 11 June 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City.[3] Miss Cosmo licence holders have been officially announced from 82 countries and territories.[4][5]

Prize

The prize includes US$100 thousand in cash (more than VNđ2.5 billion), one year of living in a luxury apartment in Vietnam. The total prizes will be up to US$1 million.[6]

Broadcaster

On 27 August 2024, it was announced that AXN will be the Global Broadcast Partner of the pageant, with the grand finale broadcast on their channel.[7]

Contest regulations

  • These are the requirements for contestants.[8]
    • All contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 30, age cut-off dates may vary by country.
    • Transgender women who are legally identified as women may participate in the pageant.
    • Legal citizenship in the representative country.
    • Not married, no children.
    • No criminal record.

Withdrawals

Two contestants were present in many activities, but withdrew from the competition before the final night: United States Virgin Islands (Undisclosed Reason)[9] and Colombia (Health Issues)[10].
