Michael Akoto (born 3 October 1997) is a German-Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Danish Superliga club AGF.[1][2]
Career
[edit]On 1 June 2018, Akoto joined Mainz from Wehen Wiesbaden, were he came through the youth ranks and made his professional debut. He signed a two-year contract with the club.[3]
On 30 June 2021, Akoto joined 3. Liga club Dynamo Dresden, signing a two-year contract.[4]
On 5 June 2023, Akoto joined Danish Superliga club AGF on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract.[5]
