Meg Hughes is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder. She played college soccer for the Providence Friars and the Michigan State Spartans.
College career
[edit]Hughes played four seasons for the Providence Friars, being named the Big East Conference Freshman of the Year in 2020 and earning all-conference honors every season, twice on the first team. She scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists in 70 games.[1][2][3] She transferred to the Michigan State Spartans for her graduate season in 2024. She scored 7 goals with 6 assists in 22 games and was named second-team All-Big Ten.[4]
Club career
[edit]Hughes was invited to train as a non-roster invitee with the Washington Spirit in the 2025 preseason.[5]
