Like a Dragon: Yakuza, known in Japan as Ryū ga Gotoku: ~Beyond the Game~, is an American-Japanese crime action television series produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Wild Sheep Content, and 1212 Entertainment. It is based on Sega's Like a Dragon video game series and adapts the original 2005 Yakuza game as well as its 2016 remake Yakuza Kiwami.[1]
Spanning six episodes, the series follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu (Ryoma Takeuchi), a former yakuza who is drawn into a vast conspiracy involving his best friend Akira Nishikiyama (Kento Kaku) and their clan family.[2]
The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 24, 2024.[3]
