Kellen Lucas Fisher (born 5 May 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back for EFL Championship club Norwich City.
Career
[edit]Bromley
[edit]After coming through the Bromley academy, Fisher made his first team debut in an FA Trophy match against Dover Athletic in December 2021.[2] He spent time on loan at National League South side Welling United in April 2022.[3] In June 2022, he signed his first professional contract with Bromley.[4] After starting the new season with two appearances in the National League, he joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Cray Wanderers on a one-month loan deal in October 2022.[5] He made nine appearances in all competitions during his time with Cray Wanderers.[6] In February 2023, he signed a new contract with Bromley.[7]
Norwich City
[edit]In June 2023, Fisher joined Championship side Norwich City on a long-term deal.[8] After being an unused substitute in the first two league games of the season, he made his professional debut in the EFL Cup first round match against Queens Park Rangers in August 2023, providing the assist for the winning goal.[9] Fisher made his full EFL Championship debut, away to Sunderland in October 2023, providing the assist for the opening goal.[10] In September 2024 it was announced that Fisher had signed a new contract with the club until 2028 with an option for a further year.[11]
International career
[edit]In May 2024, Fisher received his first call-up to the England under-20 national team for two games against Sweden and Republic of Ireland.[12] He then made his debut, starting for the Three Lions in the first game against Sweden, on 7 June which ended 2-1 to England.[13] Fisher was called up again to the England under-20 national team for the Elite League games against Turkey and Romania in September 2024, gaining 2 more caps for his country.[14] In October 2024 Fisher was again called up to the England under-20 national team for the Elite League games against Italy and Czechia, gaining 2 more caps for his country.[15]
