Kais Al-Ani (Arabic: قيس العاني; born 29 March 1997) is a footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Sparta Kazimierza Wielka. Born in Poland, he was an Iraq youth international.

Al-Ani trialed for Spanish La Liga side Málaga.[1]

International career

Al-Ani received call-ups to the Iraq national team,[2][3][4] and was described as "expected to be an important part of the Iraq team".[5]

Style of play

Al-Ani has said he was "praised... for resuming the game with my legs and the confidence to intervene".[6]

Personal life

Al-Ani is a native of Podhale, Poland,[7] and attended the Górale Football School.[8] He was born to an Iraqi father and a Polish mother,[9] and has a sister.[10]
