Joseph R. Reilly

Joseph Richard Reilly is an American Catholic priest and academic administrator who has served as president of Seton Hall University since 2024.[1][2] He was named a monsignor in 2005. Pope Francis appointed him a Missionary of Mercy in 2015.[3] He was accused of covering up sexual abuse prior to his appointment at Seton Hall, prompting of an independent review ordered in 2025 by the Archbishop of Newark, Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin.[4]
