From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heraclides (Greek: Ἡρακλείδης), son of Argaeus was an admiral sent by Alexander, shortly before his death, to construct ships on the Caspian Sea, with a view to a voyage of discovery, similar to that of Nearchus.
