Harrison Murray-Campbell (born 4 August 2006) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or right-back for Premier League club Chelsea.
Club career
[edit]Born in Luton, Murray-Campbell joined the academy of Chelsea in 2014.[2] He signed his first professional contract in August 2023 and went on to be in the first team squad in the EFL Cup and was substitute in the FA Cup.[4] Murray-Campbell had worn the captain's armband for Chelsea's under-21 side at the age of 16. Murray-Campbell currently captains Chelsea under 21’s.[5] He can play as a left or right side centre-back, full back and a wing-back.[6] Murray-Campbell played the most minutes in the 2023/24 Chelsea U18 season resulting in them winning the Southern U18 Academy League
International career
[edit]Murray-Campbell had represented England at under-18 level.[7][8]
On 2 November 2023, Murray-Campbell was included in the England squad for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup where he played in three of the four games scoring one goal.[9]
On 4 September 2024, Murray-Campbell made his England U19 debut as a substitute against Italy in Nedelišće.[10] Murray-Campbell also played against Croatia and Germany and was captain of the England Under 19 team.
