English: Fairview villa, Dulwich Hill. Built circa 1881-1882 in the Victorian Filigree style by William Clark, Secretary of the Waratah Coal Company, who named the house "Edina". Clark was affected by the 1890s depression, and the house was transferred to the Bank of New Zealand in 1895. The bank then sold the house, and it went through a variety of owners. Charles George purchased the house in 1914 and named in Fairview, and lived there until at least 1937.
