Duo Wang (simplified Chinese: 王铎 ; traditional Chinese:王鐸 ; born May 21, 1991) is a Chinese actor. He is best known for his roles in Bloody Romance[1] (2018), The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity[2] (2020), A League of Nobleman (2023) and the ongoing drama The Blossoming Love.[3] He won the Chinese reality show The Good Man and was nicknamed the Comic Prince by the audience.[4]
Career
[edit]In 2012, he participated in the Yunnan TV Perfect Voice competition[5] and was ranked 5th amongst the contestants of Shenyang and 30th in the whole of China.[6] In 2013, he participated in Happy Boys 2013 competition in Changsha but was eliminated. He then competed in the Hangzhou competition but ultimately failed to advance.[7]
In 2015, he participated Chinese Good Man and won the runner-up. He was also recognized by Guo Jingming and joined the musical Tiny Times.[8]
He made his acting debut in the epic Chinese drama Ice Fantasy.[9] After that he played minors roles in various dramas until finally getting a leading role in the 2018 drama Bloody Romance.
