@DoubleGrazing: I have added more sources, as aligned with the BLP notability guideline.

"If the depth of coverage in any given source is not substantial, then multiple independent sources may be combined to demonstrate notability" + "Politicians and judges who have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels." @Makeandtoss: this draft cites two sources. One has literally a single sentence. The other is the equivalent of 'routine business reporting'. I would argue that neither contributes towards WP:GNG; the first one certainly doesn't. Notability typically requires three solid sources.

And in the latter part of your message, you're quoting from WP:NPOL, which applies to politicians and judges, not military officers. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:01, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
