Indiana Medical College (1869–1905) in Indianapolis should not to be confused with the same named Indiana Medical College in La Porte, Indiana (1844–1850), two different schools. It was also a different school from School of Medicine of Purdue University (merged 1905–1907), and the Indiana University School of Medicine (merged 1908).
