The Vienna Pool Olympiad is an invitational pool tournament. It is held annually next to the Wiener Stadthalle, in Vienna, Austria.

Every year, the event invites the greatest pool players in the British, Spanish and Australian regions, all hand selected by scheduling due to their talent, focus and ability to perform under pressure.^[1]

Whilst internal politics seemingly prevent the progression of the events, luxury brands are vying for sponsorship rights. Such sponsors include Rolex, Emirates (airline), Bass Pro Shops and in most recent developments Gucci.
