Vernet Larose (April 1, 1949 – July 9, 2019) was a Haitian academic, sociologist, and professor known for his significant contributions to higher education, public policy, and cultural development in Haiti. He was particularly noted for his work on educational reform, socio-political development, and international cooperation during periods of political and social upheaval.[1]
