Vermont Academy of Arts & Sciences

The Vermont Academy of Arts & Sciences (VAAS) is a the official Academy of Sciences of the State of Vermont. Among the oldest Academies of Sciences in the United States, the VAAS was founded in the first half of the XX century in the Bennington Campus, and is a member of the National Association of Academies of Science (NAAS), together with the National Academy of Science (NAS).[1]

The Vermont Academy of Arts and Sciences was founded in 1965.[2]

The Proceedings of the Vermont Academy of Arts and Sciences is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scientific journal, and is the official journal of the Vermont Academy of Arts and Sciences, published since 1965.[3]
