The Vermont Academy of Arts & Sciences (VAAS) is a the official Academy of Sciences of the State of Vermont. Among the oldest Academies of Sciences in the United States, the VAAS was founded in the first half of the XX century in the Bennington Campus, and is a member of the National Association of Academies of Science (NAAS), together with the National Academy of Science (NAS).^[1]
