In August 2023, Nakić suffered a knee injury during practice and as a result did not play the next four months.[6] After his recovery, Nakić quickly regained his position in the team as one of the most important players.[7]

In June 2024, Nakić renewed his contract with Rio Breogán for his third season.[8]
