Sterling Community School is a public elementary and middle school located in Sterling, CT. Construction started in 2006, and the school facility opened on September 4th, 2007[2] replacing Sterling Memorial School, which is now used as the Sterling Municipal Building. The school educates students from Pre-K through 8th Grade. Most High School students in the town attend Plainfield High School in Plainfield, CT, which is the designated high school of the town[3]. Residents can also send their children to other High Schools including Killingly High School, Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School, Quinebaug Middle College, or ACT High School.[4]
