Draft:SCC Platform
This draft may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion because in its current form it serves only to promote or publicise an entity, person, product, or idea, and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic. However, the mere fact that a company, organization, or product is a page's subject does not, on its own, qualify that page for deletion under this criterion. This criterion also does not apply where substantial encyclopedic content would remain after removing the promotional material as deletion is not cleanup; in this case please remove the promotional material yourself, or add the {{advert}} tag to alert others to do so. See CSD G11.
If this draft does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page and you disagree with the given reason for deletion, you can click the button below and leave a message explaining why you believe it should not be deleted. You can also visit the talk page to check if you have received a response to your message. Note that this draft may be deleted at any time if it unquestionably meets the speedy deletion criteria, or if an explanation posted to the talk page is found to be insufficient. Note to administrators: this page has content on its talk page which should be checked before deletion. Administrators: check links, talk, history (last), and logs before deletion. SCC Platform
The SCC Platform is a secure digital tool developed by the SCC Arbitration Institute for managing arbitration and mediation proceedings (SCC Arbitration Institute: Everything you need to know about the SCC Platform (2024)). Introduced in 2019 by the SCC Arbitration Institute, the SCC Platform offers a centralized, user-friendly solution for handling case documentation and communication in arbitrations (SCC Arbitration Institute: Case Management)
The SCC Platform is designed to streamline the administration of arbitration and mediation cases by providing a secure environment for storing and sharing case documents.
Key features include:
- Centralized Document Management: All documents related to the arbitration or mediation are uploaded to the SCC Platform, allowing all participants: arbitrators, parties, and the SCC Secretariat to access the information in real time.
- Secure Communication: The SCC platform offers secure messaging between the parties, arbitrators, and the SCC Secretariat, reducing reliance on less secure forms of communication like email.
- Access Control: The platform uses role-based access controls, ensuring that only authorized users can view sensitive information. This is crucial in safeguarding confidentiality, which is a cornerstone of arbitration proceedings.
- Enhanced Efficiency: By providing a centralized platform for document submission and communication, the SCC Platform reduces administrative delays, resulting in faster case resolution (Herbert Smith Freehills (2019).
- Data Security and Privacy: The platform adheres to high standards of data security, ensuring that confidential information remains protected throughout the arbitration process (SCC Arbitration Institute: Security on the SCC Platform (2024)
The SCC Platform is used for all disputes administered by the SCC Arbitration Institute. The SCC Platform’s use became particularly significant during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the need for remote solutions in arbitration surged.
User Feedback:Feedback from users of the SCC Platform has been positive. The SCC Platform’s features have enhanced the overall user experience.
