Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. - Comment: The article is unfortunately not sufficiently sourced to satisfy WP:GNG. Check out the review sources and supply them under the review template at the least: if there's at least three that are of a caliber of the sources like those in WP:VG/S then it's good. Also please avoid second-person tense when writing. You might like to check out the manual of style at WP:VG/MOS for further advice. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions on my talk page. Thanks! VRXCES (talk) 06:20, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

One Hand Clapping is a 2020 indie vocal puzzle platformer, in this game the player uses their voice to help the protagonist journey through the world.
Players can either sing or hum, to solve puzzles. it’s a relaxing experience to boost confidence in people’s abilities to sing.
Gameplay
[edit]This game lets the player exclusively use a microphone, meaning that if the player doesn’t have a microphone they cant play the game. players can hold notes, change their pitch & sing in different tones.
Players can make a bridge using their voice or solve a puzzle using their voice too.
Development
[edit]it originally started as a small, student project from Southern California University by Thomas Wilson in 2016.[1] which grew into a larger project in 2018. how he got the idea of the project was from music, the art form itself. Thomas’s general idea was: “What makes singing in the shower so enjoyable, why is karaoke so liberating?” He also wanted to boost people’s confidence in singing.
Artstyle
[edit]Tamara Chang, the art director for the project was inspired by Mesopotamian & Early Islamic architecture. as it fits with the music vibe of the project.
Reception
[edit]Aggregator | Score |
---|---|
OpenCritic | 68% |
OpenCritic praised the game for its creative approach, flourishing graphics & design. But criticize it for its exclusivity of non-mic players & repetitive puzzle.
the game hasn’t been rated by more notable critics like IGN or GameSpot.
