Natsuyo N. Lipschutz (Japanese: リップシャッツ信元夏代, Rippushattsu Nobumoto Natsuyo, born July 8, 1972) is a Japanese business strategy consultant, professional speaker[1], and presentation coach.[2] Based in New York City, she specializes in cross-cultural communication and strategic presentation coaching. Lipschutz holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP®) designation from the National Speakers Association.[3]

Education

Lipschutz graduated from Waseda University's School of Commerce in 1995, majoring in cross-cultural communication in business. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year as an exchange student at Washington University in St. Louis.[4] In 2002, Lipschutz earned her MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business,[5] specializing in marketing and entrepreneurship.

Lipschutz has been active in various speaking engagements and competitions:

  • TEDx speaker at TEDx Waseda U[6] in 2015, presenting on "Living in the YES"
  • Seminar speaker at Asia Society and Nikkei BP America seminar "Reframing Diversity Management for the New Global Economy"[7][8]
  • Multiple-time champion at the New York district level of international speech contests between 2014 and 2019[9]
  • Obtained the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP®) designation in 2024[10]
