Submission declined on 12 March 2024 by Afyaniuhai (talk). This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject. This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Afyaniuhai 4 months ago. |
Submission declined on 3 March 2024 by DrowssapSMM (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by DrowssapSMM 5 months ago. |
- Comment: Remaining a redirect seems to be the best until enough notability is found. While some sources aren't reliable, some were inherited from the AI he made. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 10:38, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Max Yuan Hui has made appearances and shared his expertise on AI at international forums such as the Boao Forum for Asia, Summer Davos, and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) meetingsWere these claims necessary at the first paragraph, to be referenced by biographical profiles if not for WP:COI? Not even moved. see WP:NPOV and WP:ADV. You can still do better and resubmit it soon. Happy editing. ANUwrites 09:17, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

Patent Case
[edit]In June 2012, as Xiao-i sued Apple Inc., Max Yuan Hui was involved into the eight-year-long patent invalidity litigation. The Xiao-i chatbot had been granted a patent in 2009 (Patent No.: ZL200410053749.9), described as a chat robot system that “can complete conversations in natural language,” and Max Yuan Hui believed that the features and technical path between the Xiao-i chatbot and Apple's Siri were consistent.[12] After multiple rounds of appeals and trials, the Supreme People's Court Of the People's Republic of China made a final ruling in June 2020, upholding the validity of Xiao-i’s patent.[13]
In September 2021, Xiao-i demanded that Apple cease the sale of iPhone products that have allegedly infringed on Xiao-i's patent and claimed RMB 10 billion in compensation.[14]
As of today, this dispute remains unresolved.
