Lili Teplan (Hungarian Teplán Lilianna Sára: born April 3, 1992) is a Hungarian-American production designer, visual artist and singer. Teplán is a member of the Art Directors Guild (ADG)

Life and career edit[1]]

Teplán was born in Budapest, Hungary to American and Hungarian parents. In 2011 Teplán moved to New York to study at the New York Film Academy in New York City and Hollywood, Los Angeles. After graduating in 2014 she worked briefly at NYFA, then in the film and television industry in Hollywood. In 2017 she returned to [[New York City] and continued working in the film and television industry.

Production Design

Teplán worked as production designer and art director for several films in the last decade for latest movie Love, Brookly an American drama film, directed by Rachael Abigail Holder, in her directorial debut, from a screenplay by Paul Zimmerman. It stars André Holland, Nicole Beharie, DeWanda Wise, Roy Wood Jr., Cassandra Freeman and Cadence Reese. Steven Soderbergh serves as an executive producer; the film was selected for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.[2]

Singing

Teplán is singing in choirs and released a music video[3] in 2023 with Gabor Lukin, the founder of the Hungarian band, Trabant.
