Leave it to Charlie was a 1978-1980 Comedy series starring David Roper and Peter Sallis. A young man named Charlie Fisher works at Lancastrian Insurance Company as an agent but he happens to not be the best agent because of his deeds backfiring.[1]

Plot

Charlie Fisher a keen young agent gets a job working for Arthur Simister's business known as Lancastrian Insurance Company in Bolton, Lancashire, England. Although Fisher's benevolent deeds that he does invariably backfire one after another.

When the series was being filmed series 2 and 3 were commissioned and produced as one 13 part-run, but they were broken into two separate series, 7 of the episodes were part of series 2 and the other 6 episodes were part of series 3.[2]

Episodes

The series ran for 26 episodes or 4 series that aired on ITV from 13 July 1978 - 25 March 1980.[3][4] The episodes ranged from 22 minute episodes to 23 minute episodes to 24 minute episodes to 25 minute episodes.[5] The series has never been released on VHS or DVD. All 26 episodes of this series are available to watch on TV Brain.[6] The series is also available to watch at British Film Institute although some of the episodes are not there. Some of the episodes can also be found on YouTube as well.
