Kindgeek (укр. Кайндґік) — is a one-stop-shop fintech product development company. Trusted by 200+ companies, it empowers finance businesses with digital innovation. From idea to execution, Kindgeek leads fintech product journeys, offering custom and white-label solutions. Their Integration Hub unites fintech leaders, aligning solutions with unique needs. Kindgeek embraces AI, open banking, chatbots, BNPL, core banking, WEB 3.0, and custom software development services.[1][2][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10].

History

The Kindgeek company was founded in 2015 in Ukraine (Lviv) by Anton Skrypnyk, Yuriy Gnatyuk, and Oleg Pankiv. After a year of cooperation, Oleg left the company, starting his own product business. Anton Skrypnyk and Yuriy Gnatyuk continue to grow the company.

Since its establishment, the company has grown to more than 200 employees.

The company aims to help customers with the technical component, allowing them to grow their businesses while Kindgeek works on the products’ technical support.

The company's mission is to become a platform for positive changes - local and global- and create a space where employees will strive to develop, learn, receive decent wages, and change themselves and their environment[11].

Partnerships and Memberships

In 2016, Kindgeek joined the Lviv IT Cluster. This organization unites leading companies in the information technologies (IT) field and works with universities and city authorities on improving and developing IT in Lviv[12].

Kindgeek is a member of the IT Export Alliance[13] — an international initiative implemented under the Union brand that helps Ukrainian IT companies enter export markets[14].

In May 2023, Kindgeek announced a strategic partnership with Sileon. This partnership combines Kindgeek's expertise in fintech software development with Sileon BNPL's scalable software product[3].

In July 2023, Kindgeek announced a strategic partnership with Salt Edge to provide PSD2 and open banking solutions for the fintech landscape[2][4][5][6][7][8].

In partnership with SDK Finance, Kindgeek offers a customer-centric, cloud-based SaaS fintech solution to serve as a foundation for digital finance products. The customizable white-label core allows you to build on top of it and create a unique customer experience[15][16].

AI Assistant. In 2023, Kindgeek launched the AI Assistant services to help businesses seamlessly build and deploy custom AI chatbots powered by state-of-the-art OpenAI models and beyond[2].

Discovery Phase is a service that includes market research, systematization of customer requirements, product relevance and viability analysis, development cost estimation, and often the creation of MVPs and visual demonstrations[10].

In 2016, the Kindgeek company developed the "smart" sensor "AirQ", which helps to determine the optimal level of air humidity, lighting, and air temperature in educational institutions. The received data about the room indicators can be viewed on a specific web page. The first sensor was installed in Lviv, kindergarten No. 159. The device was tested for free together with the NGO "Naukova"[33].

In 2017 Kindgeek created the LvivLand social project — a video guide about life, culture, and business in Lviv. It is not a commercial project which aims to promote the region, spread information about Lviv, and break stereotypes[17][18].

In 2019, the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, thanked the Kindgeek company for its significant contribution to the development of the modern IT industry, the effective implementation of advanced technological innovations, and the establishment of the image of the city of Lviv in Ukraine and at the international level[34].

In 2020, the Kindgeek company initiated and, jointly with the Lviv City Council, launched the Relocate To Lviv project — an English-language information resource for IT specialists and companies from other countries who want to move to Lviv. The Relocate To Lviv site contains step-by-step instructions, a list of documents, and a description of the processes for moving to Ukraine, both individually and for company transportation[35][36].

In February 2022, the company joined the flash mob organized by DOU to collect funds for the charity "Come Back Alive"[37], which helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine and donated logistical support for the Territorial Defense Forces[38].

In May 2022, the Kindgeek team transferred $80,000 to the "Come Back Alive" charity fund, and with these funds, thermal imagers were purchased for Ukrainian military personnel[39].

In November 2022, Kindgeek took part in the TECHNOgirls project, which was organized by Lviv Open Lab together with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the support of the Lviv City Council IT Department, as well as Sweden within the Equality Springboard project. The goal of the project was to familiarize girls aged 14-18 with the IT field and debunk myths about gender stereotypes[40][41].

In January 2023, Kindgeek signed the Principles for the Women’s Empowerment Principles initiated by the UN Global Compact and UN Women[42].

Kindgeek is an official partner of Artificial Intelligence Technology: Summer School — a large-scale international educational project aimed at the in-depth study of artificial intelligence technologies, which is organized by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Lviv Regional State Administration. The goal of the project is to draw the attention of students and young professionals to artificial intelligence, popularize this direction among students of IT specialties, and provide high-quality training for future specialists[43][44][45].

Kindgeek is an official partner of the DES (Data Engineering and Security) winter school — one of the largest IT schools in Ukraine, which annually brings together the best industry specialists, experts, mentors, and lecturers from leading IT companies to share their knowledge and experience with hundreds of students and apprentices from different parts of Ukraine. The purpose of the DES winter school is to increase the interest of young people in the novelties of the field among technical specialties and to form a platform for studying theoretical foundations and practical skills between students and the IT industry[46][47]
