KJ Regelbrecher is an Australian Music Artist and Rapper/Singer. He has collaborated with the rapper Yi Jung in multiple songs, as well as became part of a duo with Yi Jung as well. He is based on the Central Coast, Australia.

Early Life

[edit]

KJ grew up in Sydney, Australia, where he started learning how to play instruments when he was a small child. He learnt how to play Piano, Trumpet, Euphonium, and French Horn, as well as studied Baroque, Classical, and Romantic music. He then joined a concert band with his family. In 2021, KJ moved to the Central Coast, where he met Yi Jung. Yi Jung introduced him to the world of underground artists, which encouraged him to start writing his own songs.

KJ always had a creative mind, but when combined with his newfound skill, he created his own unique sound in his songwriting style. KJ couldn't sing most genres since his voice has had a bass range since it broke. He overcame it with a certain singing style that allows his voice to stand out against the backing track.

History with Songs

[edit]

In 2022, KJ started writing new songs, but continued to delete drafts, as they weren't up to standard. He finally settled on one, called Sunset, which was a collaboration with Yi Jung. It started to fit together, but it was taking a long time. He also wrote a few draft ideas, that will be turned into songs in the future. Another song written near the end of 2022 was Just Friends, where KJ wrote the song for his personal life. In 2023, KJ came up with the idea for Rogue, a song that reflects his political beliefs on the government. Rogue became his main project as Sunset and Just Friends were put on hold. He continued to work on it until one of his brothers commented that "it sounds like something Eminem would rap to". KJ created the duo "Asian Invasion" with Yi Jung, and together they began to work on more songs. Through 2024, KJ has been working on new songs, and is working on Piano songs as well.
