Hugh C. C. Botefuhr (October 9, 1834 – October 1874)[1] was an officer in the Union Army during the American Civil War,[2] a hardware businessman, postmaster, and one of Arkansas' Bureau of Education officials who served as an original board member for Arkansas Industrial University.
