The Footwear Design and Development Institute[1]Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance and a government research institute in Raidurg near Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana.
FDDI was established in 1986 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India. It is headquartered in Noida and FDDI Hyderabad campus was inaugurated in 2018. FDDI was upgraded to an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 2017.[2]
FDDI has twelve campuses in India:

Campus
[edit]FDDI is spread over 16 acres, and it is located at old Mumbai highway in Raidurg in between HITECH City and Jubilee Hills. It is 35 kms from the Rajiv Gandhi Airport and is accessible by railways and road transport as well.
Programmes
[edit]FDDI offers four-year undergraduate and two-year postgraduate programmes in the fields of footwear, fashion, leather goods and retail management.[3]
