Submission declined on 14 January 2025 by SK2242 (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Needs more reliable sources that talk about Fedipact itself in significant detail. SK2242 (talk) 07:57, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Fedipact is a signature pledge by administrators of online Fediverse instances to defederate from the Meta Threads platform.[1][2]. Signatories believe that Meta will employ an "embrace, extend, and extinguish" strategy[3], becoming an existential threat to the Fediverse itself. Many also harbor negative opinions about Meta (the company behind Threads) itself[4]. These administrators have pledged to unconditionally defederate with, or block, Threads. This would make it impossible for their users to see content that is hosted on Threads, or for Threads users to follow their users or see their content.
As of January 2025, there are over 800 signatures to the pact[5].
