It was released through Republic Records on March 8, 2024, as the third track from her seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine (2024). The song was written and produced by Grande, Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
Background and composition
[edit]"Don't Wanna Break Up Again" is two minutes and 115 seconds long.[1] Taking place in the album's track list after "Bye ", the song follows the theme of having accountability and self-awareness in a relationship.[2]
