Dil Wali Gali Mein (transl. In the Street of Heart) is an upcoming Pakistani Ramadan special television series,[3] written by Zafar Mairaj and directed by Kashif Nisar. It was produced by Momina Duraid, under the production banner MD Productions. It stars Sajal Aly and Hamza Sohail as leads. The series will be broadcast on 1st of Ramadan or 1 March 2025 on Hum TV.[4][5][6]

Premise

The story is set in a lively neighbourhood and revolves around Khadija "Deeju" Adnan, a young woman who is determined to marry Mujtaba "Mujji" Siddiqui.

According to the teaser and announcements by the production company and actors, the series focuses on the themes of love, family, and community development.[7]

The original soundtrack of the series will be performed by Shreya Basu. The OST is set to release on 28 February 2025.[9][10]

Development and casting

It marked the second on-screen appearance of Sajal Aly and Hamza Sohail after Zard Patton Ka Bunn,[11] when Aly was confirmed as a part of the series in November 2024.[12][13] It marked first Ramadan special of Aly's career.[1] The series is directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Zafar Mairaj, who previously collaborated on Kabuli Pulao and Mann Jogi.[14] The first look of the series was unveiled by the network on 20 January 2025.[8] The second teaser released on 6 February 2025.[15][16] The series is the Hum TV's Ramadan special television series like Fairy Tale, Chand Tara, and Very Filmy.[17] It is slated to broadcast in March, beginning from the 1st Ramadan 2025.[18][6][19]
